TEENS CODING CAMP
UNITY 3D CAMP: MAKE A 3D PLATFORM GAMEDESIGN YOUR 3D GAME WITH PRO BUILDER AND CODE WITH FLOW GRAPH
In this UNITY coding camp, your teen will learn how to make and code a 3D platform game with the Unity game engine:
- GAME PLAY Help your robot Roby jump from platform to platform and go back to his spaceship, beware of the crazy croco! You will learn to make 3D game assets with Pro Builder and code with Flow graph in the Unity game engine, for an amazing result!
- GAME DESIGN Teens 3D design their main character (robot Roby), together with game assets (crazy croco and spaceship) with Pro Builder. They add their sky box, make their platforms and place them on their game environment to allow their robot Roby go to his spaceship and take off.
- CODING They program their moving platforms and manage the movements and collisions of the game assets and ennemies, thanks to logic diagrams in Flow Graph. It’s not a coding language, but blocks of logic instructions that we link to give intelligence to characters and game assets. Thanks to theses graphs, our main character will be able to jump, move objects, and board his spaceship etc.
This camp mixes algorithm and game design, and is designed for teens in junior school (4ème-3ème) and high school (2nd/1ère/terminale) having done coding before (Scratch, Stencyl ou Python) and who are interested in game design and coding. At the end of the week, teens should be autonomous to make their own assets and customize their game. Beginners and those who are interested in simpler projects are invited to register on Stencyl camps.
