TEENS CODING CAMP
Learn coding and make a space jump mobile game with Stencyl
In this coding camp, your teen will learn how to create and code a video-game with the free software Stencyl:
- CODING Teens follow the animator’s instructions and learn step-by-step how to create an Android mobile game with Stencyl. Space jump inspired by the famous Doodle jump game : catch your jetpack and try to go as high as you can! Stencyl is a real video-game making platform, with a visual approach of coding (with blocks), but more powerful than Scratch. You can even export your game and play it on your mobile!
- LOGIC Teens will learn coding’s logic (loop, condition, events, variables, collisions…) and create algorithms without typing a single line of code! The most curious can have a sneak peek at the JAVA code behind the blocks.
- GAME DESIGN They will design their own screens with the graphic editor. They can make animations and customize their GUI (Game User Interface).
